Pollux is an adult at the time of the book. He's also the only living dionysus kid and we know that nico is close with dionysus, and that he likely would want someone to keep an eye on him when dionysus himself couldn't. he didn't have a name until botl and his brother died. Pollux (aside from being one of my favorite characters) is very underused character. This said that there's a male character that mark felt didnt get enough attention in previous books and he's going to be in the book.

Second, how many kids HAS Dionysus produced? And are there any female children? Or intersex? (Female children of Dionysus are incredibly rare and in actual mythology would probably in the PJO universe be incredibly powerful and I would assume the same for intersex plus it’d be cool to have some intersex representation.) dionysus hades blood of olympus percy and annabeth percy pjo pollux pollux and castor castor dakota dakota hoo castor pjo pollux pjo cabin 12 dionysus cabin dionysus pjo dionysus toa dionysus hoo koolaid ariadne rick riordan please give me dionysus and ariadne plus family content heroes of olympus nico nico di angelo solangelo D) is having children despite not being able to leave the camp (however it is canon that the gods can make essentially ‘copies’ of themselves) Because this small line implies a whole lot without giving very much.įirst, Dionysus (Mr. But I really hope in the knew Solangelo book that the minor character they decided needed more attention is Pollux. Pollux could have quite possibly been at college (granted it was summer so who really knows). Pollux is about a year older than Percy give or take. Moreover Pollux may not have actually been there. It says Dakota shared koolaid with the Dionysus kids, implying that there is MORE than just Pollux. I always remember people making comments (including myself) about Pollux and Dakota finally meeting, and then later on about how Pollux lost his twin brother finally found another sibling and then lost that one too. I have been rereading The Heroes of Olympus, and I am on the last book, The Blood of Olympus (Page, 474).

Can we normalize getting rid of “Percy is the perfect man with no character flaws! And he just had a dark side!” And instead all agree that Percy is a Human and like all humans does shitty things and has a full range of emotions. Im 100% sure there is more that I have missed. When they rescued Nico from the jar and he thought about throwing wonderbread (correct me if im wrong on the type of bread) at Nico because he was to out of it/groggy. When he told other campers he too thought Tyson (Tyson’s only “friend” being Percy) was weird and didn’t like him/was embarrassed to be related to him.

When he gaslit “Bob” the giant into killing his own brother and then abandoned him when he was of no use. When Percy started drowning whats her face in her poison the reason this bothered me was because Annabeth felt scared which is not a common characteristic for her (especially with Percy). When Percy told Ethan Nakamura that his mom (Nemesis) didn’t deserve a cabin or respect. When Percy wanted to strangle Nico to death before receiving the curse of achilles. Things Percy had said or done that i didnt like it made me feel some type of way(negative connotation).
